Why I question

Moroni 10:4-5
From the Book of Mormon it reads:
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
This is why I question.  I have been a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  I have served a mission, been married in the temple, and have a great family.  I question because I am asked to question. (see above)  I question because I have the free agency to question.  Most importantly, I question because I am an individual and as an individual I have the innate right to think for myself.  I am not here to criticize nor to belittle, but to earnestly search for answers to my crisis of faith.  I make no qualms about it.  I am having a crisis of faith.  I find myself wondering about the legitimacy of the Mormon church and whether I really believe what I have been taught my entire 40 years on this planet.  I will be posting a few questions and hopefully anyone that reads this can assist me in my search for truth.
